About Me

My photo
My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

Anyone for a haircut?

This past month I purchased a pair of clippers to cut the boys' hair. Weston decided to do the honors. I must say when all was done it didn't look half bad. Tom also uses them. Saves us time and money.

Don't you just love Garett's expression. Scared? Yep, a bit but he was not harmed and loves his new do.

Troop 90 ~ Pack Meeting July 2010

For those of you that are not aware Tom and I both serve positions in the Cub Scouts. Tom is the Webelos Leader and I serve as the Cub Committee Chair. In July the boys received many awards from Day Camp.

Garett leading the flag ceremony.

Garett receiving his awards from Cub Master Brother Darrin Olmstead.

After the awards we played a game of tag. The object was to pull the other team's 'tails' before they pulled yours. The boys had a great time.

'til next month . . .August Pack meeting we will be getting wet!

Colton's Green Thumb

Once again Colton has grown a garden to be proud of. I snapped these photos about 3 weeks ago. He unfortunately he missed the entry date for the Weber County fair. Darn it. I am sure he would have brought home a couple of blue ribbons again. We have of course eaten steamed zuchinni and yellow squash.

We are now enjoying all the tomatoes that started out green. We have plenty to share if anyone is interested.

We enjoyed a dinner with fresh corn on the cob. It was amazing.

Check out the size of the pumpkin.

Colton, I am so proud of you and the way you maintain your garden. I am always bragging to friends about you and your garden. I love you.

First Ride of the Season

On Saturday, July 3rd we rode our bikes from the snowmobile parking lot on top of Monte over to Laketown via the Hardward Ranch Road. We thought this would be the perfect time to get the bikes out and make sure they were all running top notch for our trip in August down to the Piute trail.
The sun was hot, the road was DUSTY, and the memories priceless. My boys were a bit borded. They wanted hills, rocks and of course some water to ride thru. Sorry boys not this trip as we were on a grated road the entire day.
One of our bikes was acting up so we were glad we tested them.
Once we reached Laketown we stopped for lunch and of course ordered a raspberry shake.
I believe everyone had a great time.
Enjoy the pictures.

We also enjoyed many laughs.
