About Me

My photo
My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

Heil Halloween Munster Mash

Once again it was time for the annual Heil Halloween Munster Mash. We decided to go as the "Lazy Leatherows." We all wore our PJ bottoms. We were super comfy.

The Heil kids were super cute as well. The camera does not do their costumes justice. Mariah's costume was super cute, Mari was the cutest little genie. And Karver was little Frankenstein. Love it.

The Bingham duo: AJ the cutest witch ever and Quade a frog any princess would love to kiss.

The Smuin family have opened their home to a sweet little girl named Lisa. They are her foster family and she is super cute. The family justs loves her. Breeze needs a girl in the house.

After the kids posed for picture after picture they got down and slimy and cleaned out their pumpkins. This year Grandpa told them the best one would win a prize. That got all their attention. They all worked quickly and all wanted to use Misti's super cool pumpkin scraper. It seriously was the best one I have ever seen. Thanks Misti for letting all the kids use it.
And the winner was . . . . .all of them. After Grandpa had us all clap, cheer, yell for our favorites he announced that they were all winner and they all got $1.00.
Enjoy the photos of some of the works of art.

And Mari (I am experimenting with my new iphoto)

Of course the highlight of the evening in the bobbing for apples. This is so funny to watch. The kids are getting better each year and more daring. They are not afraid to get wet. And once again Grandpa announced the quickest to come up with an apple wins. The race is on . . .

Now Colton says move over kids let me show you how to get it done!

It took Colton 4 second to dunk his head and bite into his apple (please don't tell his orthodontist) and as promised Grandpa handed him a $5 bill.

But wait the bobbing is NOT done . . . .my Grandma that means my boys' GREAT Grandma who is 85 decides she will show the kids how to get it done. She dove right in and snagged her apple in the same time as Colton. The kids all loved it! I loved it. Thanks Grandma for being such a WONDERFUL lady and teaching the kids you are never too old to have fun. I love you, Grandma Heil.

A huge thank you to my parents who host this every year. Thank you Jo for the wonderful soups that warm our bellies. This is a tradition that everyone looks forward to. I love my family ~ I am so blessed.
