This year's Trendwest vacation took us to Birch Bay, WA. We stayed here for a few nights after K.C. & Alicia's wedding. Our condo was literally across the street from the ocean. We could sit out on our balcony and watch the waves and the kids playing at low tide and view some pretty awesome sunsets. Our condo and the Heil's condo was right next door. . . we had our own little corner ~ it was perfect. We picked fresh berries one day at Barbie's Farm. We then took the berries back to the condo and made fresh smoothies and shakes ~ Heidi even played Betty Crocker and made us fresh pie. Holy Cow that was awesome! We also took one day and drove to the Peace Arch Park and walked into Canada. The weather was cool and WET! I thought the flowers and grounds of the park were amazing, the kids on the other hand were bored out of their minds. This was a very relaxing vacation; spent lots of time in the pool/hot tub and just walking the beach ~ WE LOVED IT! Thanks for the memories Shane and family ~ can't wait til next time.
