In May Weston and Tom headed to Southern Utah for a week. This is a trip that Highland Jr. High has been doing for many years. They usually head to Arizona and the Grand Canyon but due to floods late last summer and the H1N1 virus AKA Swine Flu the troop headed to Escalante. Tom has been planning this trip literally since the day the doctor told me I was pregnant. Tom went when he was in 8th grade and still talks about he trip like it was yesterday. He made some great friends and memories that will last his lifetime. He just couldn't wait to go again with his son.
Tom and Weston have only GREAT things to say about the trip. Tom loved making memories with Weston and Weston loved being with his friends, away from his brothers, having no homework and I am sure he enjoyed making the memories with his dad. I missed them both terribly but knew that this was a life changing trip and was very excited for both of them. Weston's two good friends, Sterling Brandley and Sage Buehler were also on the trip, many of the pictures include those two boys. I feel so blessed that Weston has chosen to "hang out" with great kids. I hope you enjoy the SMALL sample of pictures. If and when you are up at the house ask to see the disk of pictures ~ Tom really got some great ones.
