Work, Family and FUN

On Saturday, July 17th, 2010 we decided to lend a hand to my parents and help them on the "Man Cave" aka the new shop. The boys arrived early on and got to work right away. I stayed behind and did a few chores at our house then headed to Willard. As promised the work was hard, we all enjoyed ourselves, the company top notch, the jokes a plenty and Jo/Grandma kept us all fed. We had breakfast burritos for brunch and then we had a BBQ for dinner! Fantastic Day!
Weston and Kaelton were put in charge of finishing the rock wall on the south side of the building.

Then they learned how to measure and make a cement mold. They mixed the cement and made the mold around the RV drain. After it was all done EVERYONES name was added.

The big boys, Tom, Chad and Shane, worked finishing the underside of the patio. They cut, measured and nailed up the cedar planks like pros.

Garett liked being up on the scaffold.

Karver always ready to lend a hand.

Garett, Matt and Dylan needed to get out of the heat so Grandma let them put the sprinkler under the trampoline and get wet. They were in heaven. I remember doing that many times when I was younger. It was always a good time.

Colton had plans with Logan to go pick up his new puppy in Provo so he was only there for a short time but the time he was there he helped and learned how to use the saw from Grandpa.

After dinner Grandpa and Grandma let the boys take turns shooting the pellet guns. They were all safe and respectful and becoming quite good marksman (I'll let you in on their secret - place your target about 10 feet from you) They had fun.

We called it a night right around 9 PM. When we got home Weston took his shoes off and this is what we saw. I guess you could say he got down and dirty.
