About Me

My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

Thanksgiving 2010

This year we celebrated Thanksgiving with the Leatherow side of the family. Dale and Eileen offered to host again this year so Dale sent out a very to the point e-mail asking us all to RSVP and to get with them on what we would be bringing. I offered to bring the sweet potatoes, stuffing and of course a pie to two.

This is my Black Bottom Strawberry Pie . . it is a family favorite; hot fudge bottom, cream cheese filling topped with strawberries.
What is this you ask? Pumpkin Bake. It is fabulous topped with vanilla ice cream.
Once everyone arrived the party started. The family is growing so fast and this is the last Thanksgiving where we all be together for a couple of years. Kyle will be entering the Army and leaves in March for about 3 years, Weston will be serving his mission in about 3 years and from there many of the boys will also serve. Crazy how the family is growing up.

Before the end of 2010 the Leatherows will have welcomed 3 new babies . .
Ryker Paul and Bryson Alexander

Josh, Jenn and Liam will welcome their newest addition the middle of December. Liam will have a little sister.

and more random photos of the afternoon

Liam wanted to play outside so Logan was super nice and took him out to play in the snow.

This was a great holiday . . . .EXCEPT for the fact that Weston was at home laying in bed after just having knee surgery. I missed him terribly; it was super hard for me as a mom to leave him behind but he really wanted the house quiet so he could get some much needed sleep.
This was a Thanksgiving to remember. Thank you Dale and Eileen for hosting, thank you everyone who contributed to the meal and as always we all have so much to be thankful for. Please take time to give thanks to our Father in Heaven for all our many blessing.
