Jo, like always, prepared a delicious ham and potato dinner. Everyone pitches in and the family always has more than enough yummy food for the night.
After dinner the kids were given their Marshmellow guns from Uncle Tom. The weather did not cooperate so the kids had to shoot their guns in the garage. The kids loved them, my parents not so much. Tom told the kids to paint them up and we would have a contest and marshmellow war in the spring and summer months.
As always once the adults begin their games and gift exchange the younger kids changed into their suits and found the hot tub. I can honestly say this was the first year that their was more water in the tub than on the deck. The kids are learning. I must admit I wanted to jump in this year; it has been quite awhile since I was in there ~ when I stop to think I believe I was still in high school. It is about time . . don't ya think?
AJ is ready to get in. . . .
Smile Karver!
Kinley says, "Wait for me!"
Matti is super excited to get in. I love her swimsuit!
McKenzie is too shy to pose but I snapped one anyway ~ gotcha girl.
And last but not least the opening of gifts:
To my dad and mom, Kevin and Joanne, thank you both so much for keeping the traditions going. I love you both very much.
