O' be to young again...... Homecoming 2011

In an earlier post you read about the asking to Homecoming and the answering as well. Now it is time to see some photos. This is the second time that Weston has opted to not have the pictures taken at the high school and instead he has had my cousin, Danielle take them. She does amazing work ~ Capture Me Photography.
The theme for homecoming was a masquerade ball, super fun. For the day activity they went to the Ogden Nature Center and had lunch at the treehouse there. They ate at Costa Vida in Ogden for dinner (this is Weston and Kenz's favorite), they had their pictures taken at Beus' Pond up behind Weber State and just hung out after the dance.
When I was in high school we didn't do the day activity so this is all new to me. You literally are with your date all day. So different.
Enjoy the photos

I have to share a quick story about the dress that Kenz is wearing. The dress was originally strapless, it was beautiful and I love the color purple. Weston was a bit uncomfortable with her wearing that and I am sure she was too. So she had it altered to add the sleeves and it made the dress that much more beautiful. This young couple are amazing. They are great students, are both athletes and have wonderful friends that they choose to hang out with. Weston honors his priesthood and his respect for women is top notch. I know I have said it in an earlier post but I serious don't mind Weston and Kenz dating only each other. They are perfect and if they both can put up with one another, well that says a lot. Kenz just fits as does Weston in her little family.
Beside I met my husband when we were both 15 and we had numerous family and friends tell us we were too young to be serious that we didn't know what love was at 15; but you see we weren't in love at 15, he was my best friend. We both helped eachother thru the trials of high school and the many trials going on in our personal lives. The love just happened. We both felt it, we both embraced it and we are still going strong 22 years later. So who am I to say Weston should date other people? when it feels right just enjoy it, embrace it and have fun with it.
