My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

From little Cub Scouts to Eagle ~

I posted earlier about Weston's Eagle Project ~ and at the last Boy Scout Court of Honor he was awarded his Eagle. Weston didn't want anything big or for us to make a big fuss ~ so he received his Eagle the same night his brother, Colton, received his Life and his brother, Garett, received his first rank in Boy Scouts, Tenderfoot! I just happened to mention to all the family that if they were in our neck of woods on this particular night they should stop by our church building. Am I sneaky or what? I am so proud of Weston for working hard to see this through. I know there were plenty of times he wanted to quit but he didn't. He will forever be thankful that he finished and received his Eagle. Reciting the Eagle Scout Oath with his leader, Brother Ryan Wilcox

Receiving the badges and giving his mom and dad their pins After all the awards were given....all the other boy scouts in the room whether youth or adult saluted Weston. It was very moving A gift from Brother Marriott. This is a very talented gentleman in our ward that makes these pieces of art that are presented to every boy who earns the rank of Eagle. Amazing and something Weston will cherish forever.
A gift from Dad and Mom, a Henry lever-action 22. I will not take credit for this gift as this was all his Dad's idea. Tom wanted to get the boys something that they will cherish, that they will use and something that they will know was purchased with love. All the Leatherow boys love their guns and Weston was super excited to see this being presented to him. He was so excited he even forgave me for inviting the whole family.
Thank you all who took the time to stop by and share in this special night with us.
