The past week has been a whirlwind of events; but really that is nothing new for our family. :)
Tom and I did something that is so out of the ordinary for us...we went to a concert in SLC on Friday, March 16th. Miranda Lambert with special guests Jerrod Nieman and Chris Young. Miranda put on a fabulous show. Tom actually purchased the tickets as a Valentine's gift for me. We were on the 17th row on the floor. It was amazing. I wasn't able to get many photos and those that I did get are not wonderful but the night was fabulous and I wouldn't have wanted to spend it with anybody else. Tom really is my best friend. Every day I thank my lucky stars that he chose me. Thank you Tom for a great night.

Saturday, March 17th Weston decided to ask Kenz to prom ~
Weston played some amazing soccer on both Tuesday (3/20) and Friday(3/23). Tuesday was a home game against cross town rivals Ogden Tigers. I was able to get some AmAziNg photos thanks to Billie. This is a genious idea on my part ~ I spoke with Billie last year and asked her if she would be willing to use her amazing photo skills for a few extra bucks in her pocket. She really is very talented. Photos of the BL vs. Ogden game are compliments of Bille. The game was intense. OHS scored first and were leading the game 2 to 1 with not much time left when BL found the back of the net, overtime here we come. We then found the back of the net rather quickly off a corner kick. It was during the first 15 minutes or so that OHS scored ~ Weston was given a yellow card and forced to sit the bench for a bit and during his time on the bench the offense broke the line and scored. (that by the way was a proud mom speaking)

After the game was over Tom and I drove as fast as we could to South Ogden Jr High were Garett was playing in his first basketball game with his new team, Fighting Irish. Talk about exciting. Not only did the team look great in their new uniforms they worked the ball well, played some great offense and Garett took a charge for some great defense. The team were super excited to see success right out the gate. (I forgot my camera so I stole this photo from FB ~ will remember it next time)

Tom has been putting in some crazy hours at the bakery. I serious don't know how he stands upright. I think he said he worked over 70 hours this past week ~ with no end in sight. I too have been working a lot but I am only at about 55 hours for the week. With that being said dinners at our house suffer UNLESS you have a brother or a son named Colton. He is a lifesaver. He knew that Wednesday night Tom and I would be working late so Tuesday night before he climbed into bed he set everything out HE would need to prepare a crock pot dinner. I am telling you this kid is simply amazing.
Colton is also getting excited for spring and garden season. He has build a "green house" for his seedlings in his room..

Thursday night (3/22) Tom found the energy to not only shave his head but to give G a good ol' fashion hair cut as well. He has so much hair. I will admit I didn't want him to shave it but I just haven't had time make him appointment and Garett was sick of all the hair. That will teach this mom.
Tom looked so great in his new hat that I couldn't resist snapping a quick photo as he was driving
I snapped a few photos of the game with my average camera
Weston was able to come home with Tom and I so we stopped and grabbed a bite to eat at Taco Bell in Grantsville and headed home so that we could make it in time for the last little bit of Garett's basketball practice. Colton has a few friends over to watch a movie. The house is very seldom quiet (I secretly love it).
Yesterday (3/24) I took the whole family plus Kenz to watch The Hunger Games. Colton, Kenz and I are the only ones who have read the books. The movie was great. I enjoyed being able to splurge a bit and take the family out together. I am one lucky lady. Well with it being Sunday ...let the next week begin.

I love your amazing family and I absolutely love how involved you and Tom are in all of your kids lives. Sports or greenhouse it doesn't seem to matter, you are proud all the same. Love it!
