Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

As in seasons past, Christmas of 2012 was Wonderful.  We enjoyed family, friends and of course taking time to remember the reason for the season, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
After Tom lost his job I was a bit stressed about how I was going to make Christmas great for the boys. This would be Weston's last one before he leaves on his mission and I just wanted it to be PERFECT.  The boys were a bit stubborn and didn't give us too many ideas for gifts; they just kept telling us to pay the bills, give them food and a roof over their heads.  They all were so sweet and concerned about us.  But I finally told them to give me some ideas because me not knowing what they wanted was seriously stressing me out.  I believe Santa did a pretty OK job ~ Christmas morning was very calm.  I loved just staying at home ALL day and spending it with MY BOYS.  We had a few vistors and that was nice but just being home was just what this mom wished for.

We first partied up on Heil Hill.  This year we were lucky enough to celebrate with the Hawaii Heil who are now the California Heils.  It was a riot to get to spend time with them.  I can't believe how much their kiddos have grown.  Kyler spent the night here one evening and hung out with Garett and his friends. It was great to have the cousins get to know one another.

My camera would not work right so this is all the photos I got of the party.  But you can see from the smiles we were all having a GREAT time.  I love my family.  We are all so different yet we all get along.  We are LOUD, we are ROWDY and we know how to have FUN.

Christmas Eve was spend at the Leatherows.  This is always a night full of laughs.  And of course no Leatherow party is complete until we throw in a dash of drama.  This year it was compliments of Justin and Colton.  Two hot heads who are both ALWAYS right.  :)  Of course you have to throw in a pinch of Momma Bear AKA Shar to top the cake off.
This year Scentsy had a great BOGO on the buddies so I bought all the "little" Leatherows a pal.  It was fun to see them open them.  I am not sure they all loved them but I felt good giving them.

We didn't exchange gifts this year ~ we enjoyed the White Elephant gift exchange and it was fun to see everyone personalities shine as we opened the wide range of gifts.
This was a great night.

Nope not a new Leatherow ~ Kegan's friend who WANTS to be like us.

I love this man more than words….
And Finally Christmas morning at our home….

And that is a wrap.
Bring on 2013…
We rang in the New Year up at Shane and Heidi's place.  It was super low key and quiet.  It was nice to eat and just visit with them for a few hours.  I seriously admire my older brother and his wife so much.  Sorry no photos.
The boys were at our place having a party of their own. When we got home from Brigham the party was still in full swing.  The music was LOUD, there were kids EVERYWHERE, and the fun was NEVER ENDING.  The party did wrap up around 1:00 or 1:3o and the boys stayed up and cleaned the house.  Yep, be jealous those are MY GUYS.
