Celebrating Watkins style….

On Saturday, March 9th we celebrated Corben's 8th birthday and Jaycee's 4th birthday.  I cannot believe how fast the time has flown by.   I remember vividly finding out Tess was expecting Corben.  My heart was broken ~ not because she was expecting but because our relationship had gone so far south that she felt she couldn't/wouldn't let me in.  I was sad because the man she was with was not good for her.  He was one lie after another but no matter how hard I tried to talk with her the further away from me she would run.  I missed his birth and missed his first few months.  My heart still breaks when I think about all that I missed.  He is an absolute joy and a wonderful addition to our family.  He is super smart, he loves to hang out with his dad, Blake and he is a terrific big brother.  I hope and pray that he knows how much I love him.

and Ms attitude/Ms Princess AKA Jaycee ~ she stole my heart from the moment I laid eyes on her.  I knew instantly when Tess was pregnant.  Once again she was nervous to tell me but Blake told me when I asked him.  I immediatly went into her home and told her congrats.  I was happy she was expecting yeah the timing was maybe not perfect but is it ever?  Jaycee is literally heaven sent to her family.  She gave us all a BIG scare with RSV but now she is healthy, happy and has her daddy wrapped around her little finger….OK maybe she has many of us wrapped around her finger.  I pray that Jaycee also knows how much I love her and consider her a blessing in my life.  I thank my Father in Heaven daily for my extended family ~ I love them!!!!

Tess made their cake and all the cupcakes ~ she is quite amazing.  She has become an exceptional mom.  I know her and I have had our fair share of trials but I truly am a better person because of her.  She is one of my bestest friends.  I know I can tell her ANYTHING and she will not judge me.  She is truly a blessing.  I pray that she knows how much I love and care for her and her cute family.
