Weston has received a scholarship and been accepted to attend DSU. He and his best friend, Sterling both received scholarships and they plan on attending together in the fall of 2015. The BEST thing about staying in state to go to school besides the resident tuition fees is the fact that they will hold your scholarship money while you serve a 2 year church mission. I am sure other schools do this but it is nice to deal with schools who understand and deal with it on a daily basis.
I am so proud of Wes. He continues to amaze me EVERY day with his pure dedication to being the best he can be. I am proud of him for holding his head high even those days when I know all he wanted to do was punch a wall and not stop. I am proud of his desire to get great grades. I am proud of his decision to serve a full time mission and serve our Father in Heaven. I look at him daily and wonder what on earth did I do to deserve such an awesome son. He makes being a parent easy and I love him more every day.

Wow, great job Wes!! Shar you have raised him well and he wouldn't be who he is without your influence. He may be amazing, but you have helped him realize his potential and have supported him. That makes all the difference!
