So Much to be Thankful For

This year we gathered as a family at my parent's home ~ Heil Hill.  When we arrived my mom, Jo, had decorated the dining area beautifully.  It was simply simple and I LOVED it.  We all began to eat the appetizers and chit chat while we waited for Shane and his family to arrive, this year they were running late because Shane under estimated the amount of time it took to cook a turkey.  Sill boy.  I don't have many photos to show as my camera took a nose dive shortly after we arrived.
I feel so blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. Family is what matters most in this life and the life after.  I am not great with words, nor am I a poetet but I am so thankful this year to be with family and just feel loved.  I thought that with Wes being in El Salvador it would be hard but to my surprise it was OK.  I shed a few tears and my heart hurt but I felt so warm and fuzzy that I knew without a doubt my Father in Heaven was there with his loving arm around not only me but my family as a whole.

Let us Give Thanks, today, tomorrow and ALWAYS

Over this thankful holiday we also received a gift, a gift of a visit from my boys other older brother, from our fourth son, Sterling.

It just makes my heart so happy that he finds the time to include the Leatherows in his visits.  Seeing his smile makes all of us smile.  He is attending Dixie State and red-shirting on the Basketball team.  He is loving the college life and continues to make us all proud.  Love you, Ster!
