The costumes were top notch and the Heil girls looked totally "dead". I cannot believe how fast our family is growing up. The little kids are the big kids and the babies are the little kids and well us adults just keep getting younger and more fun to be around.
No Heil party is complete without the fire ~ it is so relaxing to sit around the fire and listen to the chatter of the kids.
Thank you Dad and Jo from the bottom of my heart for keeping the tradition alive and well. There is something about a family who works hard to keep traditions going year after year. The love that is felt at the family gathering is beyond words and I am blessed to be surrounded by so many loving people who without a doubt are the BEST!
We also celebrated Halloween at the annual Trunk or Treak held down at the church. Our ward family gathered for a Soup-er great night. I took down my chili and not to brag but it went rather quickly. :) Garett and his bestest bud Landen Winterbottom decided to dress as their super heroes, Elder Wes and Elder Josh….
This gesture made Debbie and I a bit teary eyed and super proud of our boys!
The boys also posed with the true "elders" serving in our area ~
And last but not least Halloween at Bank of Utah. To keep with tradition our department got together to come up with a theme; the theme chosen was Duck Dynasty. This was a hugely popular theme everywhere this Halloween. It was a day filled with duck calls, ducks and of course ladies missing teeth. And I as Ms Kay served up some mighty fine squirrel stew….(just kidding)
