Sending Birthday Wishes to El Salvi

Weston turned 19 on January 31st and I wanted him to know that we ALL love and miss him terribly but are so very very proud of him.  I asked family and friends to send me pictures of themselves wishing Wes a happy birthday.  I then printed them out and sent them to El Salvi ~ He LOVED the photos!  He said that each photo showed everyone's own unique personalities.

On his actual birthday I had invited the missionaries serving in our area to dinner.  I thought what a way to honor our missionary, serve the missionaries dinner.  We have really grown to love Elder Gilland and Elder Bernardo.  We had a meal of ribs, chicken wings, baked potatoes and of course cake and ice cream.  We sang Happy Birthday to Wes.  It was a great evening.  Thank you Debbie, Landen and Parker for helping us celebrate.

I don't have words to express the feelings in my heart.  Elder Gilland has since had a transfer but we still follow in on Facebook ~ he continues to share the gospel in Elder Gilland fashion.  We have forever been blessed as a family to have our son and brother serving our Lord and Savior.
