Girls Day Out

Saturday, January 11th, the gals from work and I went poppin' some tags AKA Thrift Store Shopping.  We wanted to hit DIs and Good Will in SLC as well as Trader Joe's and World Market.  I didn't find anything that I couldn't live without at World Market, besides I was saving the few dollars I had for my fabulous thrift store finds.  And boy did I luck out!  Found the cutest Black and White Polka Dot skirt at Good Will as well as a cute gray sweater and deep purple blouse.  We stopped at Trader Joe's ~ LOVE this store.  It was the cutest, busiest, smallest yet cleanest grocery store.  I found some amazing pretzels and sea salt caramels covered in chocolate ~ HEAVEN.   Next stop DI in Centerville where I found not one but two pair of slacks for work as well as a cute pink and brown sweater.  And Laura found me four adorable Christmas plates as well a pink polka dot Pyrex dish for Celeste.  We also stopped at the DI in Layton and I was the winner and purchased a cute night stand for 8 bucks.  Love it.  Laura actually found it but she let me have it.  The story of how we "found it and acquired it Mission Impossible style" is too funny.  I also found a couple of shirts.  And of course no day shopping is complete without stopping for lunch.  Before we headed back North we ate at PF Changes.  It was a delicious lunch and the day was just Fun.
It is so nice to go to work and be able to surround myself with some amazing ladies.
