Let's go Boys!

So from this moms perspective the BEST gift the boys received for Christmas 2014 was the gift of a pheasant hunt with their uncles and cousins.  Thanks for Dale and Eileen for the wonderful gift idea by the way.  This was a day that the boys will be talking about until they open their next hunt on Christmas 2015.  Yep, 2014 brought another Leatherow tradition ~ The Leatherow Christmas Vacation Pheasant Hunt ~

By the stories, the smiles, the instagram posts and the continued story telling I believe this was a day that will not soon be forgotten.  I love hearing the stories and the pictures that were taken that day are priceless.

A Ring of Ringnecks

As a mom of all boys it would be so easy for me to feel left out with all the outings but let me be the first to tell you I am always invited.  I chose to stay home.  Not because I don't like to hunt or that I am against it but because while they are out having a great time to together believe me I am having just as much fun if not more home ALONE.  I clean, I watch chick flicks, I turn the radio up loud and I just simply enjoy MY time.
