My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

Yep, we are still in CO and loving it!

Day 5 took us once again to the hills above Steamboat to enjoy the outdoors and some extreme riding.  Once again I won't take up much time talking about the photos ~ just know this is where our family feels the most at home, this is were we have some great bonding time, this is where you separate the amature riders from the Leatherows.  :0)  Maybe that was a bit of a stretch but we really do LOVE riding and the closeness we all feel.

Remember from my previous post that the riding season was still about a week out so this one of the several stops to clear fallen trees from the trails.

Lunch along the trail is always fun.  Lots of laughs, lots of dirty faces and just the look of pure relaxation everywhere.   Stopping to make sure we are still heading in the right direction.  Sometimes I must admit I was certain we were lost.  But the men always found the way.

Pictures of the scenery that we were lucky enough to take just don't cut it.  This was seriously some beautiful country.  Even the teenagers in the group stopped to take photos of our surroundings.  They too were in utter awe of the scenery.

Were ever there was water there was a photo opp......  enough said.

And one point of our ride we literally reached the end of the road...

Yep, we just went around....not to worry it was clearly marked to show us the way.  Again, water = photo opp

This wraps up our riding in Steamboat Springs.  We truly loved the riding trails, the new challenges they presented to all of us as riders.  We loved the time spent out of cell phone range, no i pods just us as a family.  Truly this is what family vacations are all about.

Later that evening we cleaned up and headed out to dinner.  It was great to enjoy each others company and enjoy of great food as well.  I just loved listening to the chatter of the boys as they recounted the days riding and even made some plans for the evening.  Weston drove them to a nearby pond for some evening fishing.

and day 5 is a wrap!
