About Me

My photo
My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

OMGosh ~ did you see that?

OMGosh!  Did you just see that?  By that, I mean the last 6 weeks or so?  Crazy how life can come at you so fast. Let's see ~ school has started, cross country has come and gone as did the BL football season, Homecoming Dance has been danced and even the first report card has been delivered.  Where do I start?  I guess from the beginning.

This school year brings two Leatherow to Ben Lomond High School and one Leatherow to Highland Junior High.  The boys let me snap a quick photo of them before they headed out for the day back in August (man am I a slacker or what?)

Yep, I am this lucky

All three of the boys have got off to a GREAT start.  Weston once again decided to run cross country this year.  Colton also jumped in and ran for the school team.  Weston made it to state and received his letter and Colton improved his time each and EVERY race.  I am such a proud mom and Tom is equally as proud.

Brothers by birth FRIENDS by choice.  I love how close these two have become.

We have also cheered for our SCOTS this year.  This is the time of year G lives for.  He was chosen to be one of the captains this year and really took that role seriously.
The first scrimmage of the game he took a helmet to the knee… OUCH!

But don't fear he was ready for GAME ONE!  Listening to his pre-game pump up, hit 'em hard and bring home the W music…. (love the game face)
As you can see the first part of the season our new WILDCATS uniforms hadn't arrived so we sported the BL red and blue.  We will ALWAYS be SCOTS but here G is sporting the new white and purple colors.
After his game in Farmington we stopped and did some shopping and ate some lunch.  It was a nice afternoon spent with G and my Tom.
Last game of the year ~ EARLY morning game up in Mt Crest…. this is also G's last year in Little League, next year he will sport HIGHLAND HIKER green.

I am the luckiest lady around.  I am continually surrounded by laughter, love and yep those disgusting boy sounds but you know what?  I love EVERY minute of it.

This year Weston asked Kylie Stott to his Senior Homecoming.  and Colton asked Kenna Stansfield.  Yep, my Colton went to his first dance.  He isn't 16, I know, I know….I am so breaking the cardinal law but I am OK with that.  My sister and I attended my senior Homecoming together and it was so memorable and I wanted to let my boys experience that.  They have become such good friends and by the time Colton does hit 16 Wes will be graudated.  So enjoy some photos of the photo shoot my friend, Aly Lundell of Clearly Seen Photography took of the group.  Love all these kids.

Disclaimer: I am not sure of the spelling of all the names.
The rest of the group:

And the first quarter of school is a wrap!
