About Me

My photo
My blessings are beyond description. I married the love of my life on a beautiful summer day and we have been blessed with three healthy, handsome, active, intelligent boys. My guys are my life and they all keep me laughing and are my constant reminder of what is important . . . FaMiLy.

& just like that It is Over

Yep, this mom blinked and the school year is over.
Garett is no longer the "newbie" at Highland Jr. High  ~ watch out 8th grade.  He finished the year with a GPA of 3.988; hard work does pay off.  He did get a N in one of his classes and I made sure he understood that it was not OK.  Getting a N shows me that he was somehow being disrespectful or just not being the student that he needs to be.  He assured me he was respectful he just forgot to spit out his gum a time or two.  Crazy kid.

Colton is now a Junior in high school.  O my!  He finished his sophomore year with a GPA of  3.917.  With his current class load that just amazes me.  He literally did maybe a few hours of homework a week. ~ he is so smart and he just retains all the information.  He is super lucky that way.  He will be driving in no time at all.

Weston is a high school graduate.   He finished his high school career  with a GPA of 3.724.  Amazing!  He too had quite a few hard classes.  He balanced school, sports, work and dating with such skill he could probably write a book.  I stand in amazement at what he has done the past 3 years.

I am so proud of my three sons ~ they make me look good as a mom.  I always walk a bit taller and my head a bit higher whenever I am with one of them.  I thank my Father in Heaven every day and night for blessing me and trusting me with three of his sons.

Enjoy a few photos of the last weeks of the school year.
Both Colton and Weston received awards
Weston received his letter in Soccer & once again named Defensive Player MVP
Weston and Sterling escorted two beautiful ladies to Weber High School's
Senior Catillion

 Love the yellow and gray
Weston also escorted Madeline to her Purple and White
up at Box Elder High School.
I must say that when Wes and Madeline began talking again I was excited.  This gal is just special.  She loves the outdoors, she loves Weston's brothers and doesn't mind hanging out with them and she has the cutest laugh.  I hope she continues to visit while Weston is serving his mission.  She will begin school at USU.  Good luck Girl.

Weston also found time to squeeze in Senior Pictures.
Kaelton did his the same day same place.
Thanks Ali of Clearly Seen Photography.

 My favorite

The graduation ceremony was fabulous.  It was fun to listen to the speakers, it was a riot to see the decorated caps, and it was especially fun to see the seniors do their poses.  Weston of course flexed one last time for his senior class.  Love this kid.

I had the opportunity to spend the last night at the high school with Wes and all his friends; I was invited to the all night high school graduation party.  It was a riot.  I loved to sit back and enjoy the goofiness of the kids.  I highly recommend it to any parents out there.  Get involved in your students activities you will NOT regret it.  I snapped a photo of Wes, Josh Winterbottom and Sage Eastburn on their first day of high school and I also snapped one of them at the party.  Love it!
