Garett, played Mountain Crest and we played our hearts out and we came away with the Win. Yep, that is what I am talking about. Garett rocked the Highland uniform and was a beast on the field. Congrats to all the team and the coaching staff. Here is to a great season.

After the game G was soaking wet. Even though we drew an 8:30 AM game the weather was down right HOT.
We attended the farewell address given by the one and only Josh Winterbottom. He spoke about finding and developing his testimony. He testified of discovering the power of prayer and how our Father in Heaven hears and answers all of our prayers. He gave several shout outs to our Weston and told everyone that he looked up to Weston a lot and has for quite sometime. He told a story about he and Weston at their last Youth Conference together and how Weston bore his testimony to him. What I wouldn't have given to be there on that beach at Bear Lake with those two men. We have seriously grown to love the Winterbottoms and admire them all. After the sacrament meeting we gathered at the Winterbottom home for a deicious luncheon. I of course snapped a photo of the "boys"
Landen, Josh, Colton, Garett and of course Parker. Looking sharp as always. I love how much these boys truly love eachother and respect one another. Makes my heart happy.
Saturday, August 24th, 2013 our family was invited to attend the baptism of Kallie V, a young woman in our ward. She has been attending our ward for about 2.5 years. It was such an emotional day. I couldn't stop the tears. It's not that I know Kallie extremely well but I have watched her over the course of the 2.5 years and watched her grown into a beautiful young lady. She is full of life and has a beautiful smile that is contagious. She also asked Josh Winterbottom to do honors. I believe that is why we all enjoyed Feeling the Spirit. Seeing Josh dressed in white was overwhelming. I am not his momma but I was so full of pride.
They are both just glowing. Thank you so much Kallie for letting us be a part of your special day. The spirit that was felt in that room will not be forgotten; it was huge testimony builder for me and just the recharge that my heart and soul needed.
