Training in St Louis

The middle of January, Tom attended some training in St Louis for work. We all knew this trip was on the horizon but we chose to not think about it until the last minute. (Garett would get really anxious thinking about his dad being gone that long) Heck we all were a bit nervous about him being gone. He would be gone a total of 12 days; that is the longest that Tom and I have been apart since we were in 16. This would also be Tom's first time on an airplane. SCARY. But we all woke up early on Sunday, drove him to the airport, we all wore our brave faces and I secretly held my breath until I heard from him and he had landed. He didn't even experience any sickness. I was so relieved. Here are a few photos of his home away from home.

He attended classes from roughly 7 AM to 5 PM. That really didn't leave too much time for sight seeing and the fact that St Louis was experiencing some super storms at the time he was there didn't help. He met some great guys and some guys he will not miss. He was able to tour the Anheuser Busch plant. He said the plant was amazing.

He was also able to get some photos of the Gateway Arch

He wasn't able to take an actual tour of the stadium but snapped some photos for the boys.

Me and the boys drove to the airport to pick him up and were all one big happy family again. Weston mentioned to me while he was gone that it was too long. I have to agree. Welcome home babe! We missed you.
